A collection of various Oriental, mainly Chinese, porcelain wares including a 19th Century blue and white tureen and cover with pomegranate finial and foliate handles, the main body decorated with floral sprays and circular medallions, 37 cm long x 22 cm high, a 19th Century Chinese blue and white bowl with scalloped rim, the main body decorated with panels of flowers and foliage, raised on a circular foot, bearing four character Kangxi mark to base, 17.5 cm diameter x 7 cm high, a pair of 18th Century Chinese blue and white plates, the centrefields decorated with bird on a blossoming branch with insects, within a butterfly decorated border, 22.5 cm diameter, a blue and white baluster shaped jar, raised on a shallow circular foot, 12 cm high and a terracotta figure of a seated Buddha, 13 cm high
CONDITION REPORTS
The tureen lid has been broken and repaired. The tureen base has been broken, repaired and broken again, both on the repair and elsewhere. Large areas of both handles missing. Some crazing throughout. Scalloped edged bowl has large chips throughout on the rim as well as crazing to the glaze and scratching particularly to the inside. The pair of plates have chipping, particularly to the undersides, one with several heavy areas of loss and both have significant firing faults and areas of blue speckle under the glaze. One with a chip to the external rim. Terracotta figure has losses to the paintwork throughout. The other pot has areas of glaze missing particularly to the rim
